Armenian MPs vote for establishing ethics commission

Members of Armenian National Assembly voted for establishing ethics commission. The legislative package on Making Amendments and Addenda to the NA Regulations Law was adopted in first reading with 84 votes for and 4 abstentions.

The amendments envisage setting up ethics commission to regulate the behavior of MPs as well as provisions stipulated in the Constitution.

After yesterday’s boycott, MPs from the Prosperous Armenia Party have returned to the parliament.
