For more efficient and safe organization of services for Armenians, the Armenian Consulate General in Aleppo was temporarily moved closer to Armenian-populated districts, Armenian Foreign Ministry spokesman Tigran Balayan told Armenpress news agency.

Internet and mobile phone communications had been cut off in Aleppo after weeks of severe fighting but were restored on August 3.
