Expert: Each conflict is settled in a unique way
We should not draw parallels between the Nagorno-Karabakh issue and Crimea. We should not claim that the same will happen in the case of Nagorno-Karabakh or that the Crimea developments can have an impact on the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, political scientist Alexander Manasyan said while commenting on the Ukraine crisis and the March 16 referendum in Crimea.
According to him, each conflict is unique in the global aspect and is settled in a unique way and the main actors show different approaches to different conflicts.
“We should be prepared for a different turn of events. We disarm ourselves by pinning hopes on the Crimea independence,” the expert noted.
