Leaders of Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus to announce completion of procedures on Armenia’s EEU accession
The completion of the ratification procedures on Armenia’s accession to the Eurasian Economic Union will be announced during the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council on December 23, Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov has said, according to RIA Novosti.
“The Presidents of the three countries (Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus) will announce the completion of the procedures on Armenia’s accession to the Eurasian Economic Union on Tuesday. Armenia will become a full member of the Union on the next day after its launch, on January 2, 2015,” Ushakov said at a briefing.
