Ara Papyan: Azerbaijan unlikely to start large-scale military actions
There is little likelihood at the moment that Azerbaijan will resort to large-scale military actions, Director of Modus Vivendi Center Ara Papyan told a press conference today.
The political scientist expressed an opinion that Azerbaijan is almost sure that it will not be able to emerge as victor in the war, and it may suffer huge losses. Besides, Azerbaijan and its president are in an unfavorable situation now, Papyan added.
Commenting on the situation in Turkey and the snap elections to be held there on November 1, Ara Papyan pointed out a recent tendency among Turkish intellectuals and the public who starting to take a negative attitude towards Azerbaijanis.
