I don’t know whether I should call ambulance or security guards: Speaker of Armenian parliament on Z. Postanjyan’s actions
A scandalous incident took place during the sitting of the Armenian parliament today. The head of opposition faction ‘Heritage’ Zaruhi Postanjyan, parliament speaker Galust Sahakyan, and MP of the faction of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Hayk Babukhanyan were involved in the incident.
Babukhanyan was about to make a speech from the rostrum of the National Assembly, but at that moment Z. Postankyan approached the presidium with a sheaf of papers in her hand and started loudly expressing resentment.
“O my God!” uttered Hayk Babukhanyan, unable to continue his speech.
In response to Ms. Postanjyan’s shouts, NA speaker Galust Sahakyan said: “Don’t drive me to a state when I will have to act according to the law. I don’t know whether I should call an ambulance or security guards!”
