“Azerbaijani authorities think Armenian and Azerbaijani refugees should return to Artsakh and live in liberated areas. But it’s impossible. Obscene Turk cannot walk through holy lands of Artsakh. If Azerbaijan really thinks we can live next to Azerbaijanis then they are highly recommended to create conditions for us to return to Baku,” Grigory Ayvazyan, chairman of Azerbaijani-Armenian Assembly, said in a news conference.

G. Ayvazyan has signified the statements made by the US Congress condemning continuous threats in address to Nagorno-Karabakh and slaughter of Azerbaijani Armenians in 1988-1990. He has also underlined that it will positively impact on the process of Karabakh resolution guaranteeing the impartiality of the resolution. According to G. Ayvazyan in this case it’s important to make the issue of Azerbaijani-Armenians’ fate pivotal.

“We shouldn’t apologize or justify our points, the word should know what Azerbaijan has done with Armenians in 1988,” he said.
