Former director of Armenpress news agency Tigran Hakobyan, who has been arrested on charges of misappropriating AMD 184 million, has serious heart condition.

“He has undergone major heart surgery and should not have been arrested in this condition. Every time we visit him we see that he has serious problems and is not able to work with us,” his lawyer Hayk Alumyan told Yerkir.

According to the lawyer, they have evidence that Tigran Hakobyan has not committed misappropriations, and have all documents on monetary operations.
