Expert: Azerbaijan’s ‘good will’ to negotiate has nothing to do with reality
Azerbaijan showed its ineffective approach in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict negotiation process, political scientist Alexander Markarov told reporters, commenting on the trilateral presidential meeting in Sochi and escalation of border tensions by Azerbaijan.
“Armenia showed that Azerbaijan’s ‘good will’ to negotiate has nothing to do with reality and Azerbaijan showed that it does not want to resolve the conflict through peace talks,” the analyst said.
Markarov also said that it is not clear yet what is on the negotiating table and what concessions the parties can make.
