Envoy: Moscow welcomes any opportunity for organizing meeting between Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents
Russia welcomes any opportunity for organizing a meeting between the Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan aimed at a peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Russia’s Ambassador to Armenia Ivan Volynkin told reporters on Thursday.
Speaking about the investigation of the circumstances of Armenian captive Karen Petrosyan’s death in Azerbaijan, the envoy said that the investigation should involve all the parties.
“Everything will depend on the agreements the parties will reach regarding the investigation. The mechanisms of investigation should work well to reduce possible risks of incidents,” Mr Volynkin said.
