A famous political commentator says the ISIL and other terrorist groups are using US-made ammunition to create chaos in the Mideast region.

John Parker, an activist with the International Action Center in California, told Press TV in an interview that the militant groups have obtained “large quantities of weapons” from the US in recent years.

The remarks come as a new video has emerged from northern Syria showing the weapons the US says is sending to Kurdish forces end up in the hands of the ISIL terrorists.

The video shows masked insurgents inspecting the military equipment which was airdropped in areas controlled by ISIL near the Syrian border city of Kobani.

Commenting on the ongoing US-led airstrikes near Kobani, the analyst said there will be no legal basis for any unilateral air raids in Syria and such a move needs to be approved by the UN.

He also criticized Washington’s double standards in fighting the ISIL and other militant groups. The analyst further stressed that the ISIL militants trained by the US forces have been used to create "chaos and civil wars" in the troubled region.

The United States has also supplied foreign-backed militants in Syria with advanced weapons to further its "regime change" agenda, the political commentator noted.

The US has been the leading creator and supporter of the Taliban and al-Qaeda, who have wreaked havoc in Afghanistan, Iraq and several other countries over the past decade, the analyst stated.

Parker also denounced the Turkish government and Saudi regime's support for the ISIL terrorist group.

He referred to Turkey’s refusal to allow reinforcements into the Syrian border town of Kobani and said that the Turkey has deployed it forces near the troubled town to defend the ISIL terrorists.

The commentator noted that the Saudi monarchy was also training thousand of members of the so-called Free Syrian Army (FSA) fighting to topple the legitimate government of President Bashar al-Assad.

Western powers and their regional allies - especially Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkey - are supporting the militants operating inside Syria.
