Russia to provide financial assistance to Armenia within framework of EEU
The Armenian and Russian governments are to sign an agreement on technical assistance to Armenia as part of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) accession process.
Under the agreement, Russia will provide financial assistance of 47 million dollars and 130 million rubles to Armenia.
The Armenian government approved this decision during its weekly meeting on Thursday.
Armenia had earlier asked Russia to provide grants for the implementation of the measures in six directions of the roadmap for joining the Customs Union and the Common Economic Space.
