Russian State Duma Speaker to visit Armenia next week
Sergey Naryshkin, Speaker of Russian State Duma, will pay a working visit to Armenia next week, RIA Novosti reported, citing the website of Russian parliament's lower chamber.
During his visit, from March 30-31, Mr Naryshkin will meet with Armenian National Assembly Speaker Galust Sahakyan, President Serzh Sargsyan, and Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan.
The State Duma delegation will participate in a conference dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War and a roundtable discussion, as part of the international forum Eurasian Economic Perspective.
Also, Naryshkin is expected to attend the opening of an exhibition titled “The War and the Victory in the Works of Armenian and Russian Painters” dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War.
