Georgian minister impressed by development level of Armenian agriculture
“We are impressed by the development level of Armenia’s agricultural sector,” Georgian Agriculture Minister Otar Danelia said during his working visit to Armenia.
O. Danelia said it is his first trip to Armenia in the capacity as a minister. Noting that he is happy to be in Armenia, the minister said: “I am sure we can help each other with regard to many issues. We can provide assistance and share experience”.
The Georgian minister has visited a number of Armenian businesses equipped with modern equipment, according to the press service of Armenian Ministry of Agriculture.
Armenia’s Agriculture Minister Sergo Karapetyan said for his part that Georgian colleagues are willing to learn from Armenian experience in spheres such as canning production and the development of fish and animal farms.
“We can learn a great deal from each other in agricultural sector. The visit is important as it contributes to information exchange and the development of ties of partnership,” S. Karapetyan said.
