Belarus ambassador presents credentials to President Sargsyan
The newly appointed Ambassador of Belarus to Armenia Igor Nazaruk today presented his credentials to Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan. The president congratulated I. Nazaruk on his appointment and wished him success in his diplomatic mission, the presidential press service said.
S. Sargsyan said bilateral relations between Armenia and Belarus are developing in all directions, including a high level political dialog and cooperation of executive and legislative authorities.
The Armenian president expressed hope the ambassador will make efforts towards efficient fulfillment of great potential for bilateral cooperation, especially in the sphere of economy, given the new prospects that open with membership of Armenia and Belarus in the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU).
The sides expressed confidence that Armenia’s involvement in Eurasian integration processes will help enrich the agenda of cooperation of the two countries and raise it to a new level.
The interlocutors said that the active political dialog, the promotion of trade and economic ties, and interaction in humanitarian and other spheres meet the long-term interests and the spirit of friendly relations of the Armenian and Belarus peoples.
