According to Yerkir paper, RPA will not back Vanadzor mayor Samvel Darbinyan in the next mayoral elections. Instead, RPA will support his nephew Arman Darbinyan, dubbed Kakhtsrik.

Director of Szni Ltd, head of Heritage party’s Vanadzor territorial organization, Garnik Sahakyan also wants to run for mayor of Vanadzor. With Heritage owing him for the votes received in the parliamentary elections, it will spare no effort to secure his victory.

According to some information, member of PAP political board Narek Vanesyan is also planning to enter the race for mayor of Vanadzor, the paper says.
