Hovsep Simonyan is selected as ARF’s candidate for mayor of Gyumri, as decided by ARF’s territorial organization of Gyumri, Hraparak reports. Simonyan is the deputy head of financial and economic department at Shirak regional administration. He ran for Gyumri mayor in 2005 but withdrew, the paper writes.
