Medvedev rejects discussions on Russian base in Gyumri during his Baku trip

Dmitry Medvedev of Russia pays two-day working visit to Azerbaijan today. U.S. Congressmen travel to Turkey

Turkish and American ties are supposed to get a momentum soon, Turkish “Vebhaber” reported. It’s reported a delegation of congressmen and media representatives will arrive in Istanbul from Washington on 7 November.   Congressmen having pro-Turkish disposition and those of anti-Turkish lobby are included in the delegation. American delegation will be hosted by President Abdullah Gul and PM Tayip Erdogan.

Turkish Ambassador: protocols still on agenda

Turkey ’s Ambassador to U.S. Namik Tan hosted reporters in his residence, Washington. Turkish Ambassador talked about the Armenian-Turkish ties, “Dogan” news agency reported.   According to the source Namik Tan spoke about the normalization process of the Armenian-Turkish ties. “The protocols signed with Armenia are still on the agenda, Tan declared measures are taken to develop trust towards official Yerevan,” Turkish paper writes.

Azerbaijani deputy alarmed as international society doesn’t support them

 OSCE Minsk Group, European Council and other international organizations are indifferent to the events that took place in Karabakh, according to “novosti.az” deputy of Azerbaijan’s Mili Mejlis Rabiyat Aslanova said.
