Azerbaijani “Turan” news agency informs that despite very cold weather, Azerbaijani authorities have ordered to halt gas supply to a 9-storey building near the square of State Flag.

According to the media local residents said the workers had cut the gas pipe lines. It’s supposed that the authorities are aimed to expel local people to build a new road to a concert hall being built for “Eurovision 2012.”

Some 32 families still live in the block, who refuse to move until a favorable compensations is paid.
