Armenian Embassy in Iran appeared with an initiative to lifting visa regime between the two states, Iranian official IRNA news agency quotes Armenian Ambassador Grigor Arakelian as saying during a meeting with the Governor of Eastern Azarbaijan Ahmad Alireza Beigi.

The two sides have discussed issues related to the development of the bilateral relations. Armenian Ambassador stressed that the Governor’s and Iran’s Interior Minister’s forthcoming visits to Armenia will contribute to the reinforcement of the bilateral ties.

Ambassador Arakelian underlined that visa easing procedures are established for the Iranian tourists. The Armenian Ambassador has signified the role of Tabriz in expanding cooperation between the border-line regions.
