On August 9, Tehran will host a consultation meeting on Syria with the participation of foreign ministers from influential countries in the region and beyond, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian told a meeting with foreign diplomats and representatives of international organizations accredited to Tehran, IRNA reported.

So far more than 10 countries have confirmed their attendance at the meeting, Abdollahian said.
