The Secretary of the Armenian National Security Council Artur Bagdasaryan received today the newly appointed Georgian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia Grigor Tabatadze. The Ambassador said the Armenian St Gevorg of Mughni Church will be reconstructed within a year, in accordance with the resolution adopted, and Javakhk issues are a focus by the Georgian authorities.

According to the council press office, the interlocutors discussed issues related to the Armenian-Georgian bilateral relations. The parties agreed that the Armenian-Georgian ties have amiable basis and there are no issues between the states which are impossible to resolve through talks.

Intensification of ties between the Armenian and Georgian Security Councils was signified.

Reference was made to Armenia-Georgia agenda issues, including Javakhk. Artur Bagdasaryan raised the issues over the Armenian churches in Georgia and the regulation of the social-economic problems in Javakhk.
