Public Council continues discussions on TV broadcasting standards

The Armenian Public Council continues discussions on TV broadcasting standards. The Council Chairman Vazgen Manukyan, Hayk Demoyan, Hovik Musayelyan and Khosrov Harutyunyan are due to meet with students and lecturers in Yerevan State University Wednesday, Public Council informed Panorama.am.

Article 24 of the "Armenian Law on TV and Radio" envisages the draft on establishing broadcasting standards.

The latter presupposes establishment and applying of standards for programs which may probably have a negative impact on health, mental and physical development of teenagers, for films including obvious violence, or erotic scenes.
