Azerbaijan continues pressure on mass media
The Institute for Reporter Freedom and Safety (IRFS) slammed the Radio Liberty website limitations by Azerbaijan last weekend, Turan reported.
The IRFS statement says a number of internet providers have set limitations for their users since March 6. These continue by now.
As the statement reads further, the limitations are set over an article the website issued several days ago, where reference was made to “The Washington Post” publication on Azerbaijani President’s property.
IRFS recalls that such limitations contradict to Azerbaijan’s Constitution and calls on the authorities to lift the limitations.
