Documentary on Armenian Genocide screened in Berlin
On Wednesday, March 10, German Historical Museum, Berlin hosted the screening of “Ashes and Phoenix” documentary, dedicated to the memories of the victims of the Armenian Genocide. The film was shot in Armenia, Syria, and Turkey on the 150th anniversary of the eminent publicist and scholar Johannes Lepsius, in association with the Republican Cultural Foundation of Germany.
The screening was attended by German officials, diplomats, representatives of the Armenian Community of Germany. Armenia’s Ambassador to Germany Armen Martirosian and the film’s director Mr. Solakhan delivered speeches following the screening, MFA press and information department reported.
