On September 5, Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II left for U.S. where he will have meetings with representatives of Western Diocese of Armenian Apostolic Church.

According to the Mother See of Holy Echmiatsin press office, within the framework of the visit, Karekin II will conduct an anointment ceremony of Surb Ghevond Church on September 11. On September 12, on the occasion of the Feast of Exaltation of the Holy Cross, holy liturgy will be served in the newly anointed church.

On September 9, His Holliness Karekin II will carry out an anointment ceremony of the Armenian Genocide memorial in Boston.
Armenian Catholicos is accompanied by a number of spirituals.
