Gevorg Poghosyan: RPA comes first in election survey

The forthcoming parliamentary elections will be different from the previous ones because mainly two pro-government parties – Republican Party of Armenia and Prosperous Armenia Party – will compete for parliamentary seats, president of Armenian Sociological Association Gevorg Poghosyan told a news conference, presenting the results of a recent survey.

Poghosyan did not make the survey results public, nevertheless, he said that the Republican Party of Armenia comes first in the survey.

The survey also shows the Armenian National Congress winning seats in parliament, according to him.

“These three forces will get 75 percent of the vote. Neither will win a majority in the parliament,” said Poghosyan.
