A Sikhoi Superjet-100 passenger plane owned by the Aeroflot airlines, which was to fly to Copenhagen on Monday night, returned to Sheremetyevo airport in Moscow because of a failure of air temperature meter in the air conditioning system, ITAR-TASS reported.

When the Sukhoi Superjet-100 was on the way to Copenhagen a temperature meter of the Sukhoi Superjet 100 air conditioning system failed. The temperature meter failure poses no threat to flight safety because a second set of the air conditioning system operated normally.

Nevertheless a decision was made on return of the flight to Moscow, a source from the Sukhoi Joint Aircraft building Corporation told ITAR-TASS.
