Norwegian mass murderer Anders Breivik says he will cut all contact with his father, Jens Breivik, if the latter does not switch from social-democratic to fascist views, RIA Novosti reported, citing the Verdens Gang (VG) Norwegian newspaper. 

According to the publication, in a letter sent from prison, 35-year-old Breivik is asking his father to abandon his social-democratic convictions and join what the terrorist calls the Norwegian fascist movement.

Breivik will cease all contact with his father, a retired diplomat living in France, if he does not fulfill his request, VG reported Tuesday, citing a source familiar with Breivik's letter.

Breivik announced his plan to establish a fascist party in Norway in a letter received by Agence France-Presse (AFP) news agency on September 5.

The terrorist tried to register his fascist political organization in May 2013, but his request was denied by Norwegian authorities who said that in order for an association to be created, there needs to be at least two members. Since Breivik was the only member, his application was refused.

Anders Breivik was sentenced to 21 years in prison for carrying out deadly attacks in Norway in 2011. The first attack took place in the government district of Norwegian capital, Oslo, where Breivik bombed government buildings on July 22, killing 8 people. Later, he opened fire at a youth camp of the ruling Labor Party on Uteyya Island, killing 69 people.

Breivik pleaded guilty in court, insisting he was protecting Norway against the spread of Islam and multiculturalism, which he blamed on the ruling Labor Party.
