Armenian Prime Minister to attend May 9 events in Artsakh
A delegation led by Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan will travel to Artsakh to participate in the events marking the 70th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War, Day of Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army and 23rd anniversary of the Liberation of Shushi.
Hovik Abrahamyan stated this at the cabinet meeting on Thursday, adding that the delegation will be back in Yerevan on May 9.
In Yerevan, the events marking the triple holiday will be led by National Assembly Speaker Galust Sahakyan.
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan is in the United States on a working visit. He will leave for Moscow on May 8. The President will participate in the session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council and in the events dedicated to the 70th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War.
