President Serzh Sargsyan visits MIR 24 television channel
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan visited today the national branch of Interstate Television and Radio Company “MIR”, according to MIR24.TV .
The Armenian government took on June 18 a decision to allocate money from its reserve fund for technical re-equipment.
Accompanied by editor-in-chief Irina Mkrtchyan, the head of state toured the branch and familiarized himself with the modernization.
Serzh Sargsyan spoke to reporters and visited the newsroom. He received information about the company and its current projects.
The Armenian president was interested to know how TV viewers react to programs and the journalists had what to boast about.
“Reporters of “MIR” often present stories about talented people, innovators. The programs are broadcast in all countries, and people often call to offer their participation,” MIR24.TV said.
“MIR” Channel is available to 1.6 million viewers in Armenia’s capital Yerevan and 15 cities in seven provinces of the country.
