The sixth round of FIDE Grand Prix finished in Sochi. Four meetings of the seven ended in a draw. Levon Aronian-Al Modiah meeting ended in 1:0. After this round Armenian GM has 3.5 points and shares 1-2 horizontals with Hashimov, the representative of Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijani Rajabov and Bulgarian Cheparinov lead the tournament. Svidler, Wang Yue, Kamski, Grishchuk, Ivanchuk and Yakovenko share 5-10 horizontals with 3 points. Gelfand, Kariakin, and Al Modiah are on the 11-13 horizontals having 2.5 points. GM from Poland Navari has 1.5 points.

Remind that the second part of Grand Prix started on 30 July in Sochi and will last till 15 August.
