Chess: Sergey Kasparov ends 6th in Hoogeveen Tournament

GM Sergey Kasparov scored 6 points out of 9 and ended 6th among 63 participants of the tournament held in Hoogeveen, Netherlands, the Armenian Chess Federation said.

GM Stewart Haslinger (England) took the first prize with 7,5 points.

Collision of bus, truck leave 13 dead in Kazakhstan

An accident involving a truck and bus left 13 people dead and another 27 injured in southern Kazakhstan, the country's Emergencies Ministry reported on Saturday. There were 51 people on board the bus when the accident occurred. 5 people have been hospitalized.
