Germany international Philipp Lahm has made a sudden turnaround regarding his future, just a week after saying he was not thinking of leaving Bayern Munich, Goal.com reported.

After initially claiming the only way that Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho would be able to work with him would be to take over at the Bavarian side, Lahm was coy when asked if a move to the Spanish capital was possible.

"I don't want to exclude anything in the future," Lahm told Sports Bild.

"Therefore, never say never. Mourinho is a top trainer who has enjoyed a lot of success."
