  The Biblical story of creation is to be turned into a 3D movie by Paramount Pictures and Walden Media co-founder Cary Granat. The project, called In the Beginning, will be based on the Bible's Book of Genesis which describes God's creation of the world over six days and goes on to tell of Adam and Eve, Cain and Abel, Noah's Ark, Abraham, Jacob and Joseph. US government recorded budget deficit

  The US government recorded a budget deficit of $221bn in February - the largest monthly deficit in its history. The figure was disclosed by the Treasury Wednesday in its monthly update on the government’s finances.. Last month’s deficit was up 14% from the $193.8-billion gap in February 2009. There was some relative good news in the report: Total taxes and other revenue were up 23% from a year earlier, a bigger percentage increase than the 17% rise in outlays.

Half of food delivered to Somalia diverted
