At least 136 homes have been destroyed by a wildfire that swept through the mountains around Boulder this week and four people are still unaccounted for, Colorado authorities said Wednesday.

The Fourmile Canyon fire, which started Monday, has burned through more than 6,000 acres of foothills. About 3,500 people have been evacuated. Though no injuries or deaths were reported, sheriff’s investigators were still trying to track down four people who lived in or near the burn area.
