MAPPING SPECIALIST COLLECTED LIST OF ANTI-ARMENIAN LITERATURE PUBLISHED IN AZERBAIJAN

Former Honorary Council of Armenia in London, trustee of “Armenian Institute”, specialist in old maps and author of three books on historic and medieval maps, Doctor Rouben Galichian has recently collected a list of books on history published in Azerbaijan between 1990 and 2008, which contain falsified historical facts.
After independence the Azerbaijani authorities, supported by “Heidar Aliev” foundation have spent millions spreading false information and anti-Armenian propaganda. A few months earlier Dr. Galichian referred to the Armenian authorities expressing his surprise why they do not take legal action against Azerbaijan in international courts, since most of these allegations are libelous.
“This is falsification from the point of view of international law, we should stop it. If we don’t tell the truth now, then in 20, 40 or 60 years libraries will be full of Azeri books brimming with false and invented history and the layman would be unable to separate the truth form fiction and lie.”
In his book “The Invention of History. Azerbaijan, Armenia and the Showcasing of Imagination” Dr Galichian exposes the Azeri falsehoods and lies printed in books such as “War against Azerbaijan. Targeting Cultural Monuments”. Dr Galichian’s book contains 130 scientific references, 4 media documents, 72 photos and maps showing that destruction of Armenian churches and monuments by the Azeri authorities in Azerbaijan and Nakhijevan.
Below is the list of History Books that have been published in Azerbaijan since 1990’s mentioned above.
