Republican MP: Report just smells like oil dollars
Armenian Republican Party (ARP) MP, the Chairman of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs Gagik Minasyan was asked at a press conference today to comment on the report published by "Regnum" news agency. The report describes the social-political situation in Armenia in 2009. The report warns about the possible resumption of military activities, says the army could take Levon Ter-Petrosyan’s part, President could hand over the power to Abrahamyan-Tsarukyan couple, raises the possible intensification of anti-Russian moods, etc.
G. Minasyan advised not to read such things at all, and as far as the analysis of the report go, he labeled them as disqualitative as none of the forecasts of the report issued 1.5 years ago came real.
“I would advise not to read articles which actually have special mission and contain no informative and serious political analysis,” G. Minasyan said.
The MP said the unknown author of the report has no idea about foreign policy in Armenia. “Some parts just raise amazement, like, for example: with its stance Armenia makes Azerbaijan take the military path over solving Karabakh issue. The report just smells like oil dollars,” he said.
