Iranian MFA responds to Davutoglu’s accusations against Tehran
The statement of Turkish Foreign Minister testifies to the fact that Ankara’s Syria policy is a failure, said one of the Iranian Foreign Ministry officials, according to Iran’s semi-official news agency Fars.
The Iranian official responded to Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu’s statement that Iran and Hezbollah are involved in the Syria conflict, saying, “The statement of Turkish Foreign Minister testifies to the fact that Turkey’s Syria policy has not changed. Making accusations against other states cannot make up for the failure of Turkey’s Syria policy.”
“Iran believes that the Syria issue must be resolved through political dialogue. We hope Turkish officials will understand it as soon as possible,” said the Iranian diplomat.
