Davutoglu experiences serious crisis as politician and theorist – expert
Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu is a theorist, rather than a politician, a Turkish studies expert has said.
“Davutoglu continues to put forward theories which meet with failure,” Ruben Melkonyan told a press conference Monday.
In his recent article published in the Turkish Policy Quarterly journal, the Turkish FM said that “unjust memory” was created around the events of 1915.
The expert noted that this is a reviewed variant of the famous Turkish theory that both parties suffered losses in 1915.
Melkonyan stressed that Davutoglu experiences a serious crisis as a politician and theorist and confuses theory with politics.
