Defense ministry spox says Armenian side suffered no losses due to Azerbaijani ceasefire breaches, promises retaliation
The Armenian side suffered no losses as a result of the ceasefire breaches by Azerbaijan, Armenian Defense Ministry spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisyan noted in a post on Facebook.
“Numerous fake news and poorly edited footage will be released soon. I believe our media sphere has gained enough immunity for us not to give explanation for each of them [fake news]. We suffered no losses and everything has been reported clearly. No action of the adversary has gone unpunished or will go,” the post reads.
To remind, staring from the morning of July 7, Azerbaijan has been violating the ceasefire regime along the Artsakh-Azerbaijan Line of Contact, firing firearms, as well as D-30 and D-44 cannons, mortars and grenade launchers of different calibers.
As the press service of the Artsakh Defense Ministry told Panorama.am, three Karabakh servicemen identified as Robert N. Gasparyan (b.1969), Hambardzum K. Harutyunyan (b. 1997) and Vahe G. Badalyan (b. 1998) sustained shrapnel injuries of various degrees as a result of the Azerbaijani shelling.
The frontline units of the Artsakh Defense Army take retaliatory actions to suppress the Azerbaijani provocation.
