World is at its most dangerous point, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg says
The world is at its most dangerous point in a generation, the Secretary General of NATO Jens Stoltenberg warned referring to the nuclear threat in North Korea and 100,000 Russian troops mobilising on the EU’s eastern borders
Reflecting on his 30-year career, he told The Guardian: “It is more unpredictable, and it’s more difficult because we have so many challenges at the same time.
“We have proliferation of weapons of mass destruction in North Korea, we have terrorists, instability, and we have a more assertive Russia.
“It is a more dangerous world.”
Secretary General Stoltenberg was speaking during a break from visiting Brit troops in Estonia who are preparing for Moscow’s largest military exercise since the Cold War in the Baltic.
