Roads mostly passable in Armenia
Roadways are mostly open for traffic in the territory of Armenia as of 10 a.m. February 13, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
No precipitation is expected in the country on 15-17 February, while precipitation is predicted at times on the second half of 13 February, at night of 14 in most regions, in the daytime of 14 in Syunik and Artsakh.
According to the source, black ice has taken hold on some sections of Sotk-Karvachar highway.
The ministry urges all drivers to use exclusively winter tires when driving in the regions.
According to the information provided by the Department of Emergency Situations of Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs and the general department of the Republic of North Ossetia of Russia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations, Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open for all types of vehicles.
