Armenia’s new sports & youth affairs minister named
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced his decision to appoint Gabriel Ghazaryan Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs at today’s Cabinet meeting.
First, the PM welcomed and wished good luck to the newly appointed officials - Minister of Emergency Situations Felix Tsolakyan, Minister of Transportation, Communication and Information Technologies Hakob Arshakyan, and Minister of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources Garegin Baghramyan.
“I would like to inform you that I have decided to appoint Gabriel Ghazaryan Armenia’s Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs,” he said, adding he has submitted a respective mediation to President Armen Sarkissian to confirm him to the post.
Pashinyan said agriculture and economic development ministers will be named soon.
Ghazaryan served as Armenia’s sports and youth affairs minister from 2014 to 2016 as well.
