President: Armenia and Latvia are friendly countries which share the same values
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Latvia to the Republic of Armenia Ingrīda Levrence (residence in Tbilisi) presented on Tuesday her credentials to President Armen Sarkissian.
Sarkissian congratulated the newly appointed ambassador, wished her efficient work and expressed confidence that as a seasoned diplomat, she will bring her professional skills and knowledge to further deepening of the multifaceted cooperation between the two countries, the presidential office reports.
According to the president, Armenia and Latvia are friendly countries which share the same values, have similar approaches and positions on many issues, which creates a good base for the expansion and deepening of the relations. He stressed in particular the importance of a full utilization of the existing potential in the economic area and productive cooperation in the framework of the European Union.
