Armenian president signs U.S. Embassy condolence book for George H.W. Bush

Armenian President Armen Sarkissian and his spouse Nouneh Sarkissian visited today the U.S. Embassy in Armenia to express condolences on the demise of the 41st President of the United States George H.W. Bush.

As the presidential office reports, Sarkissian signed the Book of Condolences in remembrance of the former U.S. leader.

“The world has lost a World Leader,” the president wrote. “We will all remain with the great and warm memory of a wonderful person, Great American and a wise politician that made in his time our world better, breaking walls and building trust. I will never forget our meetings. They made me much richer as a human being.”

George H.W. Bush, who led the Gulf War and saw the end of the Cold War, passed away at the age of 94 last Friday.
