Iran has not changed its balanced position on Artsakh issue - military attaché
The Iran’s balanced position on the Artsakh issue has not changed, and media along with different interpretations often distort it, the military attaché of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Armenia Lt. Col. Mehdi Heyat Vejdani stated.
The remarks of the military attaché came at a meeting on Thursday with the with the Head of Defense Policy Department at Armenia’s ministry of defense Levon Ayvazyan. The parties among other things discussed the statements attributed to the Chairman of the Chiefs of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Baqeri made in Baku.
As the ministry reports in a release, during the meeting the parties discussed issues of Armenian-Iranian bilateral relations issues of regional security and peace.
The interlocutors highlighted the high-level political relations between the two countries, adding the upcoming high-level meetings will give numerous occasions for voicing official positions on different issues.
