Yerevan court rules to arrest ex-minister facing bribery, money laundering charges
The Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction has granted a motion filed by the Special Investigative Service (SIS) to remand former Nature Protection Minster and lawmaker Aram Harutyunyan into custody for two months,
The motion was examined by the Avan and Nor Nork residence of the court.
In a statement released on Thursday, the SIS said the former minister had been charged with receiving large sums of bribes and money laundering.
