PM says issues obstructing the NK settlement process to be raised during the talks
“All issues that obstruct the NK negotiations process will be raised and addressed during the talks,” Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated on Wednesday at the Q/A session in the National Assembly. The PM’s comments came at a request of MP Arman Abovyan to comment on the intensification of the anti-Armenian rhetoric coming from Azerbaijan. Abovyan also pointed to military exercises held jointly by Azerbaijani and Turkish troops as well as requested updates about the Artsakh involvement in the negotiations.
“The topic of bringing Artsakh to the negotiation table is something which is discussed at every meeting. We are holding talks based on the principles declared at the joint meeting of the Armenian and Artsakh National Security Councils held on March 12 in Stepanakert,” the PM said, adding all thorny issues remain in the focus of the discussions.
Asked about the current stage of the negotiation process, Pashinyan said the settlement process has been underway for 25 years and continues today.
