Chiefs of Staff of CIS armed forces held regular meeting in Dushanbe
The Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces Major-General Artak Davtyan participated in meeting of Joint Chiefs of Staff of CIS countries in Dushanbe.
As the defense ministry said I a statement, the heads of delegations of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan discussed current issues of military cooperation in the CIS format at a meeting.
In addition, the meeting participants exchanged views on the military-political situation on the southern borders of the Commonwealth and analyzed the current challenges and threats to the security of the CIS member states.
